Sourced from TimberHP,  the first company in the U.S.  to manufacture wood fiber insulation, located in Madison, Maine at the former home of the Madison Paper Mill.   In a region of the country where the economy was tied to the declining paper industry, TimberHP is breathing new life into rural manufacturing and helping to create a market for small diameter pulp trees and residual wood chips from milling activities to make their wood fiber insulation products. 

PURPOSE
TimberBOARD is a rigid exterior continuous insulation for wall, floor, and roof applications.  TimberBATT is  flexible, high-density wood fiber batt insulation engineered for superior thermal, acoustic, and moisture performance in modern assemblies. 
The "HP" stands for high performance, a healthy planet, and healthy people.  No VOCs, formaldehyde or added toxins.  Red List Free.  Performance beyond the R-value, these products are industry-leading for noise reduction for acoustical insulation solutions,  provide fire resistance and moisture management for safe, quiet, vapor-open spaces.
