Since 2008,  Sustainable Northwest Wood has been a bridge between responsible wood sourcing and the built environment, servicing Portland, the Pacific Northwest and beyond.  We have long dreamed of a second location to better serve the Seattle area and are thrilled to announce our new distribution warehouse in SoDo!  

A diverse and vibrant industrial district, SoDo is minutes from downtown, I-5 and the Spokane Street Viaduct.   The new warehouse shares a parking lot with Second Use Building Materials & Salvage, an inspiring deconstruction and reuse business that diverts over 3,000 tons of community-sourced used building materials from landfills each year throughout Seattle and Tacoma.  Plans for collaboration, shared resources and community events with our new neighbors are in the works, so stay tuned for that.  

The new location is OPEN BY APPOINTMENT to professionals ONLY  until we establish regular hours later this summer.  The new warehouse is already stocked with select sizes of FSC Certified ®  dimensional lumber, FSC  Plywood,  and TimberHP wood fiber insulation.   We will also be offering Washington grown and milled Cedar and Thermally Modified Hemlock in the near future.  Other products will be added to our inventory along the way, with a quick turn on anything we stock at our Portland headquarters,  more regular shipments to Seattle, plus free local delivery for added convenience.  Ask our sales team for details and let us know what you'd like to have in stock for you in Seattle.

We anticipate having the Branch Manager position filled and adding hours of operation in the very near future.     All orders, inquiries, stock checks and quotes will be processed through our Portland headquarters.  Our team of local wood enthusiasts is standing by to help you find the Good Wood in Seattle and greater Pacific Northwest.
