Sustainable Northwest Wood is the fruition of a dream Ryan had to make rural communities the beneficiaries of the green building movement. He cares deeply about our forests and the people in the small, rural towns across the west where our wood is sourced and  believes the hardworking people practicing ecological forestry deserve recognition in the market.   As the founder of our company, Ryan leads by example and holds our vision for making a positive impact in our local communities and in the forests we depend upon.   He develops the relationships with our robust network of land stewards, local mills and small businesses throughout the Pacific Northwest.   Ryan's expertise is sought for developing and navigating a transparent supply chain, and is a key industry leader in connecting responsibly sourced wood products that advance a better built environment  and healthier natural one.  When he's not making the entire PNW a better place, he enjoys hiking, biking, paddling and exploring the forests he cherishes so much.
