FSC® Pressure Treated Lumber

Sustainable Northwest Wood's pressure treated lumber is sourced from Pacific Northwest mills and is FSC Certified.

Our lumber is all FSC Doug Fir or White Fir, which is recognized globally for superior dimensional stability.  We use copper azole for our in stock lumber (also known as CA-C), which is a preferred alternative to chromated copper arsenate (CCA).  We can also provide borate, ACQ, and fire treatments upon request.

We work directly with a variety of small mills throughout the Northwest, which provide a spectrum of jobs in rural communities.

Selective harvesting of Douglas Fir and White Fir is a way to provide ultimate health of the forest without having to clear cut.  A healthy forest with higher diversity of tree species increases ecological health.
