Sustainable Northwest Wood's lumber is solely sourced from the Pacific Northwest and is 100% FSC Certified.

Our dimensional lumber is all Douglas Fir, which is recognized globally for its superior dimensional stability.  We are the only lumber distributor in the Pacific Northwest to offer only FSC certified lumber.
 

COMMUNITY
We work directly with a variety of small mills thoughout the Northwest which provide a spectrum of jobs in rural communities.

ENVIRONMENT
Many of the mills we work with source logs from unlikely canidates like the Fort Lewis Army Base in Washington.  Selective harvesting of Douglas Fir is a way to cultivate a healthy forest without having to clear cut.  A healthy forest with a higher diversity of tree species and ages increases ecological health.
